Reading this morning I was blessed by this following verse and I share it with you to encourage you.
Galatians 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. But let us not just get stuck in our freedom alone. It was for FREEDOM – not just local to me, my family my need but we have been set free in order to bring others into this walk of Freedom in Christ. You can only lead people into Freedom when you are free. So let’s today draw on the power of the Holy Spirit and truth of the Word and walk out of the slavery that hinders the Freedom of Christ. What are the bondages? May I be bold enough just to mention a few, maybe your ego and your will are far more prominent than the humility of your spirit? Maybe it could be the way you do or don’t manage your time, maybe it is a habit… These are only a few, the list is endless – and I have to make sure each day as well that I am free… Because this is the finished work on the Cross… Freedom is free but needs actions and continued assessment in areas of our lives! Be encouraged today, your life can be different because the Cross has determined your destiny so long as Jesus is central in your life and mine! We are NOT slaves but SONS and DAUGHTERS!
