The original statement in itself has lots of truth. Time is indeed a healer. However, we do need to use time to heal. Too many people sit with hurts, disappointments and troubles waiting for time to sort these problems out. Time in itself cannot do this. But, if we take the time we have and apply the truth we know, then things will certainly change. It is how we use time that will speed up the recovery or will delay the process. Time once gone can never be retrieved and that means we must make the most of it. Use time to your advantage and allow it to heal the wounds. Do not allow misery to rob the time that you have. Pain is very real; time is very real, and, coupled with that, we know that God is the Healer. So time together with God equals pain being healed. Sometimes the journey is long, sometimes the journey is short, but one thing is for sure – the outcome will always be for our best.
