First Impact & Discipleship Day

by Benjamin Fech

On April 27, we held our first Impact & Discipleship Day with the goal of helping young people to grow in faith.

To this end, we offered very practical workshops. The day began with the topics “Prayer & Faith” and “God’s Provision and the Handling of Money”, which were led by Tobias. I have rarely heard such a good and biblically sermon on dealing with money (Matthew 25:29).

The participants really took to the sessions and joined in. After a short lunch break, we continued with Kaleb. He took us into the topic of “Identity & Faith” based on Ephesians 4. It is important to know who you are and what promises God has given you if you want to live by faith in everyday life.

Benjamin concluded by talking about the principle of sowing and reaping in the context of Hebrews 11:1. He gave everyone a carrot seed to show how tiny it is until one day it grows into its full potential. It is the same with the prayer of faith. The effects are not immediately visible, but you can trust that the seed has been sown and one day you will see the harvest.

Afterwards, we as the Relevant team prayed for each participant.

The participants were excited and we are thankful that we are able to invest in the next generation and see them become devoted followers of Jesus.

We are already looking forward to the next Impact & Discipleship Day on October 26. – Be there too!
