The Psalmody Worship Seminar 2019, held on 16th – 19th July 2019 with Pastor Trevor Sampson (South Africa) and Pastor Jimmy Titahena (Ambon) received a good response. There were 111 registered participants consisting of ministers, church workers and interdenominational churches members from Manokwari and the surrounding area and also from the Wondama Bay region and Ransiki.
22 team members from a South African church went with us to the Wondama Bay region on a mission trip. On this trip we visited several islands: Sombokoro, Windesi, Roon and Aisandam. We did several outreach meetings and also visited some tourist attractions.
This month, the Children’s Ministry focused on helping the children who attended to be freed from games addiction, pornography addiction and other things also.
One of the children who attends our Love Papua Centre Children’s Ministry is Asih. She is a young girl whose house is located quite far from the Centre. In the beginning she was a shy girl who was very much lacking in self-confidence but praise God that she has become a more open and confident young person and has more courage to offer her opinions.
Our Love Papua Centre’s English Club works quite well as is filled with enthusiastic students. 13 students attend our beginners’ class and there are 32 students altogether so we need to divide into 2 classes.
On 26th July, our Love Papua Centre Prison Ministry team shared from Galatians 4 on the different characteristics between a servant and a son/daughter. An inmate gave a testimony that he had had a divine encounter with Christ and that through this experience he has received an answer to his long-time struggle. He praised the Lord to show his gratitude.
We would like to thank all of you who always pray, support and sponsor these ministries.
Together for the harvest
