The Love Papua Centre believes that “spiritual input and practical outlet” is the biblical principle. Therefore, The Love Papua Centre does not only teach, preach and equip but, at the same time, serve their communities in practical ways. During the Covid-19 world pandemic in 2020, thousands of meals were prepared and distributed to feed the hungry.
The team has also focused on renovating two orphanages and, during great floods, the Love Papua Centre team has gone to disaster-stricken areas and built emergency housing for victims. At the same time, emergency council and spiritual input have been given to the flood victims – especially the children.
Special events have been arranged for the most impoverished areas of the community – be it spiritual input through teachings, feeding the hungry or arranging Christmas celebrations, the focus of these events, is always the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is combined with practical activities.
