Prayer School in Ashdod
15th – 17th May 2025

The drive to Ashdod took under an hour, and we were warmly welcomed with a homecooked lunch hosted at Beit Hallel. The prayer school consisted of a night session on the 15th, two morning sessions and an evening session on the 16th, and two morning sessions on the 17th.
On the first night, Dr Rev. Suzette Hattingh ministered on the prophetic destiny of the city, strategic to its placement for the nation of Israel. Everyone in attendance came to a place of humbling themselves before God. It was a commitment of availing themselves personally and corporately for God’s purposes and destiny, and intercession for the city. There were 103 people present.

The next day was a working day, and we had around 85 delegates present for the morning sessions. This is where the real teaching for the prayer school began. Suzette focused on the part we play in intercession, and how it ties into what is happening in the throne room of heaven. She used simple illustrations that had an incredible impact on driving her points home.
In the evening session, Suzette taught on how to pray the Word of God. She then led the congregation of around 200 people into a practical prayer session. It was a powerful time of going back and forth between worship and prayer. Praying like this engaged the faith of everyone in the room, and by the end of the evening, people walked out encouraged and feeling very much a part of the time of prayer.
On the final morning, an anointed time of worship flowed into a charged time of prayer with 120 delegates, like a battering ram. There was a true breakthrough in the spirit. Suzette spoke about how we stand covered in the blood of Jesus, and at the same time, clothed in the righteousness of our redemption through Christ. Once again, a simple illustration with red and white scarves brought such clarity to the teaching.
Throughout the prayer school, there was no specific prayer for healing – but where the power of God is, healing flows. There were testimonies of pain disappearing in various parts of people’s bodies. We give praise and glory to God for what He has done in and through the prayer school!
Prayer School in Haifa
07th – 09th May 2025

The prayer school in Haifa spanned over three days – two evenings and one morning. The delegates were largely Russian-speaking, and so the teaching was translated into Russian, and simultaneously into Hebrew on headsets. We had an average of 130 delegates over the duration of the school. They did not just come from the local churches, but also from international ministries and non-locals who were passing through the city.
On the first day of the school, we were faced with much resistance – everything that could go wrong went wrong. The international prayer networks were immediately activated to pray intentionally for the meetings. As a team, we fasted and prayed on the next day leading up to the evening meeting. We certainly saw the victory of the battle that was prayed through.

During the worship on the second evening, Dr Rev. Suzette Hattingh felt to go into a time of prayer for the city. Representatives of the different ethnicities came up to pray in their own languages – English, Russian, Hebrew, and even Arabic. It was power packed from the beginning to the end of the meeting!
By the time we got to the third day, there was such a wonderful flow and anointing in the worship and the teaching and translation.
We give thanks for what the Lord has done. It is clear to see the power of united prayer that transcends geographical borders. Thank you to all who have prayed and pressed in with us for the breakthrough in Haifa!

Prayer School in Poriya (Galilee)
4th May 2025

The Prayer School in Poriya was hosted in Kehilat Poriya. There were approximately 45 people from three communities present, and there were two sessions – a morning and an evening session.
We were led in heartfelt worship, singing songs based on Scripture, written by the worship leader himself. After the worship, Rev. Dr Suzette Hattingh invited the team to share one thing that has impacted each of them personally.
It was interesting to hear from the different viewpoints the revelation and understanding that has come through the Prayer Schools to date.
Although it was a small meeting, the people engaged in a lively time of questions and answers – which is very ingrained in their learning culture. We had interaction even during the teaching, where one of the local pastors offered reinforcement for different points with Scripture. This certainly added strength to what was being shared by Suzette.
The morning meeting drew to a close with a challenge to our own personal places of intercession. The teaching highlighted different ways that God would try to get our attention to or for something and invite us into intercession. There was not a single person left sitting as everyone responded in personal prayer and commitment before the Lord.
The evening meeting was quite different from the morning. Suzette spoke on creating a spiritual arena with our worship and intercession. She then led the room into practice, alternating between worship and Scripture-based corporate intercession. It was an inclusive time where everyone paired up and took turns to pray and agree with each other, no matter their faith level or experience.

An exuberant joy broke out at the end of the meeting. The worship leader, James Block, led us in a vibrant song based out of Psalm 147. He even played his harmonica during the music interludes!
We had a beautiful and blessed time with the community in Poriya.

Prayer School in Nazareth
3rd May 2025

The prayer school in Nazareth had four sessions over a full day. There were approximately 90 delegates who attended, made up of English-speaking and Arabic-speaking believers. This school saw the teaching translated into Arabic.
We had a beautiful time of worship, with the sounds of the oud (a traditional Arabic lute instrument) and a violin adding their special local touch.
The first two sessions served to lay the foundation for intercessory prayer. Dr Rev. Suzette Hattingh addressed how our prayer is often limited by the fact that we focus on our weaknesses, and how there needs to be a shift to the power of the Name we pray in. In Romans 8:26, Scripture states clearly that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weaknesses – not our strength. Something seemed to shift in the overall atmosphere as Suzette challenged the delegates to rise as eagles, to soar above the storm and see from God’s perspective.
In the third session, Suzette went deeper into the teaching of what goes on when intercessory prayer takes place. Suzette shared real-life experiences of how she learnt these principles. Her examples truly helped people relate to the teaching in an experiential situation. Suzette then led the delegates into a time of practical prayer, putting into practice what they had just learnt.

The last session was a time of worship and prayer ministry where each of the delegates were prayed for individually.
We have received many good reports since, from pastors and leaders, as well as from the delegates in general. Some of them will even make their way to join us at the other prayer schools in other cities, that are lined up over the next three weeks. Apart from the teaching and ministry that happened, we are grateful for the relationships that have formed and for how the local believers have received us with love.
Ministry at the International Leadership Conference (ILC)
30th April 2025

The International Leadership Conference (ILC) is a conference held annually by the International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem (ICEJ). Dr Rev. Suzette Hattingh was invited to share a message at a dinner meeting where 60 staff, leaders, and national directors of the ICEJ were gathered. It was held in a beautiful restaurant space that overlooked the night-lit city.
After fellowship over the meal, we had a short time of worship, and it was time for the word.
Suzette spoke about destiny, drawing from Paul’s missionary journey to Rome. In Acts 9:15-16, God Himself calls Paul as a chosen vessel with a specific destiny, and even states clearly that the fulfilment of the destiny will come with suffering. As Paul embarked on his journey of faith towards his destiny, he faced much opposition – but he did not give up. Opposition came in many forms for him, both from external threats, and internal struggles.

As Suzette unpacked the message, there was a thread of hope and assurance woven throughout; the promise of Romans 8:28 where God will work all things together for good. God allows us to go through difficult circumstances, but if we remain faithful to His mandate, He will refine our character and hearts, and He will carry us through.
“It is God’s job to get us to our destiny. It is our job to step in faith.”
The message ended with a time where groups of two or three stood in prayer with each other, encouraging those who were working through challenges in their journey towards their destiny.
Indeed, God does not take the storm away, but He assures us that He is with us through the storm. He is with us always.

Day 3

The third and last session of the Prayer School was a morning meeting. Some of the delegates were unable to attend in person due to work commitments, but nonetheless, we still had some who came for the first time. We had a total of 50 delegates in attendance.
Before we started with worship, Dr Rev. Suzette shared from Revelations 8, and how our prayers and worship are brought before the throne of the Almighty God, offered before Him with incense. This awareness certainly opened a new dimension as we raised our hearts and voices to exalt the name of the Lord.
The teaching began with Suzette expanding on the material from the evening before, going more in-depth with some of the Scripture and taking more time with it. Those who came for the first time were able to get a comprehensive understanding of intercession and coming face to face with God to pray what is on His heart.
We then segued into a lively and engaging time of Q&A. One of the questions that was asked was about the logos versus the rhema Word, where Suzette was able to explain further. It was also highlighted that prophetic words, when received, are meant to be tested and confirmed by the Word of God – and then we pray this as a rhema Word.
The last segment of the session was a time of anointing and commissioning for all the delegates. The prayer among the delegates continued even after everyone was ministered to individually.
We are thankful for the partnership of the host church and pastor, the wonderful Hebrew and Russian translators who kept up with the pace and depth of the teaching, the worship team, the media team, the pastors, and all the delegates who came. The hospitality and kindness shown to us in Rishon Letzion greatly touched and blessed us.
Thank you for all the prayers that have been poured out internationally, leading up to and during this first school.

Day 2

The second evening of the prayer school saw 80 delegates who came ready to learn and receive. We began with a wonderful time of worship, led by the team from Ashdod, then Rev. Dr Suzette Hattingh jumped straight into the teaching.
Suzette opened with the illustration of a ladder, with general prayer being the first step. She then went to the second rung, which is to pray with authority according to the heart of God. This is where prayer is no longer about our request, but where we become a channel through which God releases what He wants to release. It is our availability for Him to work through us.
After laying this foundation, Suzette expounded on how the fall of man in Genesis resulted in a loss of connection to God, and then the connection was restored in Abraham – who is known as the father of faith. It was from the time of Abraham that God began to speak through the prophets again.

When we pray the Word of God in general, it feeds our soul and strengthens our faith. This is known as the logos word. However, when the Holy Spirit speaks a specific Scripture for a specific situation, this is then known as the rhema word. Praying the rhema Word will result in the creative power of God at work in the specific situation it was given for. This is how the Father speaks His heart to us.
Suzette then led the meeting into a time of worship and prayer, teaching the delegates how to pray for the city according to a rhema word. She called the pastors, as the leaders of the land, to charge them with a challenge to pray according to the rhema Word given for their churches, and for the city. They came forward and began to pray together.
It was a refreshing time where the Lord brought revelation and understanding. There was such a strong sense of unity during the prayer time at the end of the session, and we look forward to how the Lord will continue to work through this!

Day 1

“Prayer can never be an end in itself. The moment prayer becomes an end in itself and has no outflow, it becomes stagnant…boring.”
Dr Rev. Suzette Hattingh
Dr Rev. Suzette Hattingh’s opening statement had the room leaning forward with intent, some people nodding in agreement, others beginning to smile in understanding.
The school kicked off with an evening meeting, with 60 delegates and simultaneous translation to Hebrew and Russian via headsets. We saw a coming together of the local community, with some travelling from neighbouring regions to join in support as well as a worship team from Ashdod, and some other pastors. The hum of fellowship over coffee and a light snack created a wonderful atmosphere as the people came in. The host, Ps. Mikky, gathered the delegates opening the meeting with warm greetings and a word of prayer.

Suzette unpacked prayer and intercession as the lifeblood of the five-fold ministry – a vital part of being able to run with fire, and a much needed support. She spoke from a place of practical experience over the years of her ministry, as the Lord taught her how to keep her fire fresh.
There are two places a believer needs to be. The Altar, a place of hearing from God in intimate prayer, learning to hear and pray what is on the Father’s heart. The Porch, the place where the outflow and action happens, resulting in the impact we see upon our families and communities.
She then led the delegates in a time of worship and prayer for the city, based on Isaiah 55:11 and Isaiah 22:22. Everyone actively engaged, and passionate prayer came forth.
Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV)
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Isaiah 22:22 (NKJV)
The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder;
So he shall open, and no one shall shut,
And he shall shut, and no one shall open.
We look forward to what the Lord will do in the rest of this prayer school!
Ministry at King of Kings Community, Herzliya
26th April 2025
Shabbat Shalom from Herzliya!
This morning, Rev. Dr Suzette Hattingh ministered in a small church community of around 60 people. She brought a strong and clear message on the purpose and posture of intercession.
Suzette drew examples from Abraham in Genesis 18 – interceding for Sodom and Gomorrah – and Moses in Numbers 11 and 14 – interceding for the Israelites, and later during the uprising of the sons of Korah. In all these incidents, Abraham and Moses stood before God, confronting God with His own character. We see the power of intercession and God’s responding mercy and judgement.
She then challenged the congregation, asking, “How do you know your Father?”. We can only intercede from our experience of God’s character worked out in our lives.
Many responded during the time of prayer. Some committed afresh to developing the intimacy of intercession with God, others brought areas in their personal lives that have become an obstacle in their coming before the Lord.
We rejoice in the work that the Lord is doing, purifying and drawing His children closer to Him.
