We live in a very modern technological world. Everything has to do with a button or a tone or a signal or a connection with the internet. You see as our young people grow up, they grow up with all this technology and all this modern facility that facilitates our everyday lives. You can come to the telephone and you can have a look at who's ringing you and if you're going to accept that call or reject it simply by the caller ID.

I want to take you a step further today; we also have a caller ID. That caller ID is the presence of the Holy Spirit that when God calls us to a place of prayer or God calls us because He needs us to do something we have the Holy Spirit within us to recognise and accept and discern the calling of the Holy Spirit. That caller ID is only really developed in a place of prayer and worship. Also, God has a caller ID. The Bible says when you call unto Him, He will answer you. When my call comes before Heaven it's like, if you can imagine in our modern day society, my name, your name coming up on a screen that says, "Gayle's calling you", "Freds calling you", God, you're going to respond, you're going to answer this call.

I want to encourage you today; you have the power to reject or accept the calls on our everyday lives. Yes we have many calls, things that pull us away, things that don't have much to do with eternity, things that are temperal yet we also have the call of the power of the Holy Spirit to something that is far greater. You and I have the choice to accept the caller ID of the Holy Spirit today or to reject it and to have the calls of the world around us. Let's determine in our hearts to seek the face of God, to call unto Him and to recognise by His Spirit His calling upon our lives for such a time as this. May God bless you in your walk with Him.
