I don't know about you but have you ever lived like I have in the myth of "someday"? You might think, "Well what does that mean?" I'm sure you, like I have, have a list of things that maybe "someday" you're going to do. In your household you've maybe got a list of chores that "someday" when I get the time to do this or to do that I'm going to fix this or I'm going to fix that or I'm going to really do this and our lists become longer and actually our "someday" lists are never really fulfilled.
You know we can do that also in the walk of God. "Someday" God when you anoint me, "someday" God when I feel the urge or "someday" God when I feel a little bit more confident I'll step out for you. The "someday" could be the difference between life and death.
It's true that many times our "someday" lists are never fulfilled. I wonder how many people have gone to the grave with their "someday" list still hanging on the pinboard of their kitchen wall. How many times have we done things in our spiritual lives where our God "someday" list is still hanging there?
The God is the God of today. He wants us to move in what we have today. My Bible says, "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it". Whatever we have to do today let's put our hand to the plough and let's strive for doing the things that are done today for tomorrow we don't know what tomorrow brings and maybe that which we need to do today must be fulfilled today.
I want to encourage you and challenge you in this day to pick up that "someday" list and to begin to go through that list today and know that God will fulfill His promise, His dream, His anointing will be there. We don't need to worry, we don't need to strive for where God goes He makes a way and that way is for you today.
I bless you as you fulfill the challenges that God has for you and may your life and your family be changed in it in the blessed name of Jesus.
