Have you ever lived your life and you've thought, "If only I hadn't done that, if only this had happened, if only that had not happened"? I want to tell you today that one glimpse of God's power will overcome a lifetime of regret.

How do I know that? Because the Word of God is so clear. In Isaiah 43:18-19 says, " ". This is God's promise for you, we live far too often in the past; I want to encourage you to step out into the future. The Bible says forget all that but strive and reach into that for God is doing a new thing. God is doing a new thing in your life today! God is doing a new thing in your situation today; can you not see it?

I'm sure everyone of us can look into a part of our lives and we have seen the hand of God. Why don't we focus on that instead of focussing on our difficult situation. No it doesn't mean that the situations go away and I don't make light of them but I want to encourage you in this day to reach out for God has got a plan and a purpose and one glimpse of God's power will overcome that lifetime of regret that you have.

I want to pray with you because I know the power of prayer can set you free. Father I want to thank you this morning that one glimpse of Your power and one glimpse of Your glory can change our situations. I thank you that we don't need to live in the past of regret for You are a God who forgives and You are a God who restores and so I pray into every situation and every life that is represented right here for Your restoration and Your forgiveness and for Your change and Your power to be evident in their lives, in the blessed name of Jesus, amen.
