I want to share with you something that has stirred and challenged my life, I've called it, "Today is the tomorrow that you spoke about yesterday". What does that mean? It basically means that we with our words create the destiny within which we live.
If we open our Bibles and we have a look at Proverbs 18:21 it says this, "Those who love to talk will experience the consequences for the tongue can kill or nourish life". You know, it takes as much time to bless as it does to curse and yet it takes far more time to undo the negative that we've spoken than it does to really build the positive in our lives.
I want to encourage you today and to speak into your heart that that which you're speaking out today will be the tomorrow that you live in. We create by the words and by that which we speak into the spirit realm our destinies and our futures for our own lives, our families and for those that are connected with us. Have you ever sat down and considered, "How do I speak?" Have you ever sat down and thought about the words that are coming out of your own mouth; are they creating the tomorrow that you really want to live in or are they creating something that you really wish you could step out of?
You see children of God, we have the power in the life of the tongue. The Bible clearly says it, it's not the Devil, it's what you and I speak into existance over our lives. So why don't we change the confession that we have over us and speak the Word of God over our situations, over our families and we will live in a tomorrow that is far greater and far brighter than today or even yesterday. I challenge you, make it the purpose of your life to speak God's blessing over you, in Jesus' name.
