I'm sure you know the old song that says, "All to Jesus I surrender, all to Him I freely give. I will ever love and trust Him, in His daily presence live." That song was written in 1855 by a man with the name of . At that time he was actually in a great battle in his own spirit between; should he develop his gifting in art or should he step out full time for the Lord. A decision that was giving him great turmoil and he was praying about it and struggling with it and then he wrote this song once he came to the place of full surrender.
I don't know what your battle might be, I don't know what is that which causes you great turmoil or is it something God has asked you to do for Him. Is it maybe your place to decide before God if you need to step out working for God or maybe just something He wanted you to do or is it something completely different. Is it maybe a battle in your own heart about yielding about somebody that hurt you or something that was said that really really offended you or maybe something that you felt you were unfairly or unduely treated by. I too had to come to that place to make a decision for Jesus Christ when I was a registered nurse and step out for God. Maybe you need to make a decision for God today and you, like thousands of us will be able to sing at the end, "I surrender, I surrender all, all to you my blessed Saviour, I surrender all."
Why don't you pray with me right now and let's give over that thing deep in your spirit that gives you such turmoil. Let's pray; Father we come into your presence today knowing that only you can give true peace. We surrender to Your will oh God, we give it all to You, amen.
