I am often amazed at how we overlook the simple truth of Psalm 40:6,8. To be active for the Lord is good but sometimes it is the smallest act of obedience that carries us through the most difficult times.

I believe that what I live today is what I spoke out yesterday. What I will live tomorrow is what I speak over my life today. If I speak defeat over my life today then tomorrow I will battle a negative state in my life. However, if I speak the Word of God into my life today, tomorrow I will enjoy the blessings of that Word!

Have you ever wondered why Judas killed himself or considered that possibly he didn't have to die?

His epitaph would read "He found no place of repentance". That's about all the Scripture tells us of this church leader's act of suicide.

I switched on the TV to listen to the news, the first words I heard from the BBC broadcaster were "this is a year of change". I sat up straight. "Wow" I thought, "we have heard it over and over in 2007 prophetically that 2008 is a year of change, that God wants to do a new thing but now even the worldly TV channel declare it - something is up!"
