We kicked off our first Arise Shine meeting of 2010 with Suzette being completely able to stand, walk and jump. What a joy to see her moving on her legs again!

Gayle shared a very practical message helping us to grasp the importance of making good and godly choices though they might hurt in the beginning or even bring us into a place of doubt and desperation. I believe that many people were comforted by this message and also very much encouraged to not go back but to hold on firmly to their decisions. It was as though God was whispering, “Hold on and don’t be dismayed. It might not feel right at the moment but that’s because you are wounded, tired and lonely. But you can trust that you have indeed made the right choice.” I saw people rededicating their decisions to God and asking Him to help them to be strong and joyous and I know that God will surely answer their prayers.
