STREAM SCHOOL IN LÜDENSCHEID

JULY 01 - 03 2011

After four weekends of STREAM School once a month since March, our last weekend of STREAM School was from July 1st to 3rd. All were very expectant about the times of worship, the outreaches, (each Saturday afternoon we went out on the streets to evangelize) and about the messages of our speaker Gayle Claxton. Her subject: Evangelizing in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

On Saturday morning Gayle started to teach and took us up the mountain of Horeb where Abraham was given the task to sacrifice his son Isaac. She showed us by his example what worship means in the eyes of God. Her teaching was indeed very encouraging, very challenging and instructive. In the evening, she spoke at “The Other Service” at Wiedenhof. Her message had the title “On the way to no man’s land”. What happens to all the prophecies, promises, visions etc. that God has put into our lives and we’ve been waiting upon their fulfilment for quite some time already? Does God still know about them? And How do I “behave” in this no man’s land en route to the promises of God for myself, my family, my church, my marriage etc.? Gayle’s message had truly been the “word of the hour” for many of us and an earnest plea: Don’t give up! Keep at it! Hang in there! This very evening, many gave their lives to Jesus and many decided anew to go straight through the no man’s land and not to give up.

On Sunday morning, we had the closing and anointing meeting of the STREAM School. This time, Gayle’s message was more of a question: Why do you want to have the anointing? Once again, for demonstration’s sake, a person from the Bible was taken – Ruth, the courageous foreigner, who was determined not to be put off her plan. And why? 1. Because she wanted what she wanted. 2. Because she had the anointing for that which she did. Gayle put it very much on our hearts to hold on to God’s target for our lives and not to get disturbed by any circumstances or adversities or even get off the way. With the anointing time at the end of the service, the STREAMERS were released into that which God planned to do with and through them.

We couldn’t have had a better closing for our STREAM School. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully and many of the attendants have made decisions on very different levels. Thank you, Jesus, and thank you, Gayle!
