Word of Life - Speyer, Germany (2009)

Gayle spoke at the "Word of Life" on Saturday 5th December 2009.
On December 5th, Gayle preached at “Word of Life” („Wort des Lebens”) in Speyer/Germany. We were heartily welcomed in the new church building and very much blessed by this mostly Russian/German church. Currently, the church runs a church bible school programme and 85 people have already registered for the first school year. The teaching lessons are held once a month and in this very setting, Gayle taught on prayer in a three-part-one-day-seminar.
Her teachings on prayer were indeed very practical. With testimonies and examples from her personal life, Gayle encouraged the attendants in a biblical and yet humorous way to pray with determination, direction, with faith and to be specific.
We travelled down to Speyer on the Friday evening as Gayle was going to do a 3 session seminar on Prayer and Intercession on the Saturday at a Russian/German church. There would have been approximately 85-90 people in attendance and all were hungry to learn how to go deeper with God. The hospitality was amazing and we were felt so welcome; it always amazes me how God knits together the body of Christ and everyone is felt to be part of a big family. The feedback from the people was very encouraging as I heard comments like, "Now we know how to pray!"
Wow! The hospitality of the church and our accommodation were unbelievable. The worship was very powerful. The hunger to learn more about God and the deep longing to make a change and to be changed in prayer were amazing. The greatest surprise of all was to experience how much Russian I understood. In my eyes it was a very blessed meeting for all of us.
